Jack and the Beanstalk is one of the first fairy tales I remember reading and learning about when I was a little girl. It’s such an odd and funny story. World book day ideas February 28, 2018 No. This year I am actually trying, we have decided that Jack is going to go as Jack and Beanstalk. Which basically consists of normal clothes and making a beanstalk. For the beanstalk I started with a swimming noodle, you could use a wrapping paper tube or similar. I painted to green, using our fabulous recycled paint and drew some curling stems up it.

Jack and the Beanstalk is an old English fairy tale.It has been written many, many time by different folklorists and storytellers throughout history. Early appearances include The Story of Jack Spriggins and the Enchanted Bean in 1734 and Benjamin Tabart’s The History of Jack and the Bean-Stalk in 1807. Joseph Jacobs also collected it in his English Fairy Tales in 1890.

This is my paper outfit design for jacks mum. we were put into groups and were given a character from jack and the beanstalk to create it for. we decided to create a pink knee-length skirt and a white apron with a flower attached to the top of it.
